Where is the Penn Corridor?
The over two-mile long Penn Corridor includes Penn Street from City Park in Reading through the downtown area and across the Penn Street Bridge onto Penn Avenue, extending through West Reading and Wyomissing. For detailed maps and directions, click here.

Vision Statement
The Penn Corridor will be Greater Reading's hub for arts, culture, dining and entertainment. It will reconnect residents with their urban core.

Penn Corridor Grand Opening

The Penn Corridor officially kicked off on Saturday, March 29, 2008. At a press conference attended by municipal officials form all three municipalities – Reading, West Reading, and Wyomissing the excitement and energy of this cooperative effort was revealed.

The kick off day was part of the beginning of Berks JazzFest and is being followed with a special week on Penn Corridor with the Berks JazzFest is in full swing! Take a look at our Schedule of Events list for the most up to date information. From there you can get a feel for the various activities that are always taking place on Penn Corridor! And don’t forget to check out the Thursday on Penn list for all of the extra special things that happen on the first Thursday of every month.
